Geraldine Rowe,
BSc Hons, PGCE, MSc, is a Senior
Educational Psychologist, qualified
teacher and trainer who has extensive
experience working with children, young
people, their families and schools in a
number of Local Authorities. In the
summer of 2006 she left her post as
Senior Educational Psychologist for the
London Borough of Hillingdon to set up
an independent practice offering
training and consultancy in applied
psychology.
Geraldine originally studied
Occupational Psychology at U.W.I.S.T,
Cardiff, and worked briefly in the field
of management selection and guidance
before embarking on the post-graduate
programme to train as an Educational
Psychologist.
Geraldine has been a regular speaker at
National Conferences and on Television
and Radio on the topics of inclusion,
pupil participation and parental
involvement; she set up the Parent
Partnership Scheme for Essex County
Council and currently co-ordinates the
National Pupil Participation Interest
Group for Educational Psychologists.
Geraldine is on the steering group of
the National Pyramid Trust, Hillingdon
and has completed the Advanced Training
in Reality Therapy.
